Alfred McKee died Dec. 11, 2012, at the age of 86.

Mr. McKee was a resident of Bass Lake and the Madera area for 26 years.

He was born July 22, 1926 in Colburn, Colo.

Mr. McKee enjoyed water skiing, and racing cars and boats. He built street rods and was a member of the Screwdrivers.

He is survived by wife Dorothy McKee; son Jack McKee; daughter Linda Louise Sawlsville; brother Donald McKee; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Dec. 17 in Oakhurst's Little Church on the Hill in Oakhill Cemetery.
