Anna Tompkins & Matthew Wallace to wed

Milestones for 12/20/12 edition of the Sierra Star

Anna Tompkins and Matthew Wallace are engaged to be married in March in Oregon.

The couple met at Sugar Pine Christian Camps in Oakhurst, where Wallace worked a couple summers as a camp counselor.

Tompkins is a graduate of Yosemite High School and is the daughter of Roger and Janice Tompkins of Camas, Wash. Tompkins received her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Fresno and works for Mid Columbia Economic Development District. She has lived and worked in Oregon for four years and now resides in The Dalles, Ore.

Wallace, a native of Australia, is the son of Robert and Catherine Wallace and received his Bachelor of Ministry from Tabor College NSW in Australia.

Tompkins and Wallace plan to move to Australia following their March wedding.
