Three-car accident

Published: December 13, 2012

A three vehicle accident occurred this morning around 11:20 a.m. on Crane Valley Road (426). A semi was traveling eastbound and had pulled into the center lane to make a left turn into the Grocery Discount Center’s parking lot. When traffic cleared the semi driver, Richard Lamberson, 54, of Uplands, began to turn. Before the semi trailer was completely in the parking lot, it was struck by a 1990 Toyota pickup truck traveling westbound and driven by Donald Trainer, 71, of Oakhurst. A second pickup, driven by Paul Ginter, 68, of Oakhurst, realized too late that the Toyota was stopped and rear-ended it. Trainer received a slight laceration to his head and was treated on scene. Lamberson and Ginter were not hurt. No arrests were made.
