Marlene Lajoyce Bryant died Oct. 26, 2012, at the age of 75.
Mrs. Bryant was a resident of Ahwahnee for 35 years.
She was born Aug. 8, 1937 in Los Banos to JC and Edith Criswell.
Mrs. Bryant received a degree in library science from Aurora College in Chicago, Ill.
She worked as the assistant librarian at Yosemite High School for many years.
Mrs. Bryant enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, sewing, quilting, music and organizing multiple family reunions.
Mrs. Bryant is survived by husband of 51 years, Don Bryant; children Jeff Bryant and wife Linda of Fresno, and Jennifer Parker of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; grandchildren Kyle of Hilmar, Zachary of Turlock, Jaycee and Terran of Fresno, and Mariann Holtegaard of Denmark; siblings Darrell Criswell, Charlotte Nelson, Janet Criswell and their families; and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 27 at Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church in Oakhurst.
