Two Mountain Area residents are behind bars following a parole search in Oakhurst last night, Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Oakhurst residents William Shannon Reed, 43, and Morgan Jean Brannan, 20, were taken into custody at a residence located on Road 422.

Reed, who is currently on parole, is facing narcotic and weapon charges.

Brannan was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
