James Raymond "Jimmy Ray" Morris died Nov. 20, 2012, at the age of 71.

Mr. Morris was a resident of Auberry for 30 years.

He was born Dec. 4, 1935.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by first wife Dorothy "D.J." Morris.

He is survived by wife Patricia Thompson Morris of Clovis; and stepchildren Max Hansford and Linda Hansford Phillips of Oakhurst.

A memorial service will be held at noon Sunday, Dec. 2 at Stone House Tavern in Auberry.
