Pines will host free comedy show Nov. 23

-- PinesNovember 16, 2012

The Pines at Bass Lake will give the community an early Christmas present with a free comedy show at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 23, in the Lakeview Room at Pines Village.

The evening will feature comedians Bo DeLapp, Chris Cruz, Danny Minch, Josh Stout and Raphi Barakat.

One of the fastest rising names in Central Valley comedy, DeLapp will headline the show. He is a central valley native, having graduated from Fresno High School and has headlined most comedy venues in Fresno, including Thai Palms, Fulton 55 and Teazers. Danny Minchhas been doing comedy for four years. Known as the Blue Comedian -- Even though he seldom uses bad language -- his style has been said to be like watching a jazz poet do comedy. He has gone on since his humble beginnings at the Starline in Fresno to some of the top comedy spots in the nation including The Punchlines, The Hollywood and Brea Improvs and the HA HA Cafe.

His big break came when he was asked to be the sole opener for Everyone Loves Raymond's Brad Garret.
