Customers can donate to storm relief at Raley’s

Published: October 31, 2012

Customers can donate to east coast storm disaster relief during their visit to Raley’s grocery store with 100% of their donations going directly to help regions devastated by Superstorm Sandy.

Raley’s announced last week it is designating all donations to checkstand collection boxes in its stores to Storm Sandy disaster relief. Donations received will be split between relief efforts of the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army. Raley’s will absorb all administrative costs to ensure that all donations reach the victims and relief efforts of the storm.

“Any time we’re faced with a natural disaster, it’s important that we come together to aide those in need,” said Jennie Teel-Wolter, Raley’s Community Relations Manager. “We recognize the huge need for support and we want to provide our customers with an easy way to contribute and feel confident that their donations are reaching people in need.”
