Oakhurst

A deputy responded to a report of stolen tires, rims, and a motorcycle Oct. 3 from an unlocked shed at a business off Highway 41.

An adult male is arrested for public intoxication Oct. 3 off Highway 41.

A deputy was dispatched to a civil dispute Oct. 4 at a business off Road 632. A subject had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest out of Madera County. He was arrested and booked at the county jail.

A deputy responded to a report of a burglary to an apartment Oct. 4. Jewelry and prescription medication were taken.

A subject was reported drunk and attempting to assault someone Oct. 4. The subject was contacted in the Oakhurst Community Park and arrested for being drunk in public.

A deputy was dispatched Oct. 4 to a residence regarding a burglary. Several items were stolen, including a firearm and two televisions.

A deputy was dispatched Oct. 4 to Yosemite High School regarding two juveniles who were involved in a fight.

A deputy responded Oct. 5 to a theft of solar lights from a residential driveway.

A deputy responded Oct. 6 to a burglary to a locked auto.

A deputy responded to a report of an intoxicated subject Oct. 6 on the side of a roadway. The subject found and was intoxicated. The subject transported and booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections.

A deputy was flagged down Oct. 7 by a local transient who asked to be run for a warrants check.

A deputy responded Oct. 8 regarding a student who brought a knife to school.

A suspect was found in possession of unlawful weapons on his person Oct. 8. He was arrested, transported and booked into the Department of Corrections in Madera.

A deputy was dispatched to investigate an alarm Oct. 8 and found it to be a legitimate burglary.

An adult male was arrested Oct. 9 inside Vons supermarket for an outstanding parole warrant.

A deputy was dispatched Oct. 9 to a call regarding a male subject being intoxicated in public. The male subject was arrested and transported to the Madera County Department of Corrections for public intoxication.

A deputy responded to a call regarding a prowler in the area Oct. 9.

Unknown subject(s) used projectile, possibly BB/pellet gun/rifle, to cause damage to front window of business Oct. 10 off Crane Valley Road (426).

A deputy was dispatched Oct. 10 to a business off Golden Oak Drive regarding a subject was sleeping in a van on the property.

A deputy responded Oct. 10 to reports of a theft of several items from a thrift shop.

A deputy was dispatched Oct. 10 to the Oakhurst Community Park regarding an intoxicated subject. The subject was found hiding in the bushes near the bridge entrance to the park. He was arrested and booked in the department of corrections.

A deputy responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle parked at Chukchansi Resort & Casino Oct. 3.

An adult female was suspected of being under the influence of methamphetamines Oct. 7.

A deputy was dispatched to Oct. 6 for a report of a burglary to storage sheds

A deputy was dispatched Oct. 10 to a residence regarding a burglary.


Bass Lake

A deputy responded to a theft of a handgun from a private cabin. The theft occurred sometime between September and October.


North Fork

A suspect borrows victim's vehicle for the day Oct. 8 and does not return it.

A victim contacts the sheriff's office Oct. 8 to report that a male threatened him and brandished a knife.


Ahwahnee

A deputy was dispatched Oct. 8 to a report of fuel theft from a vehicle.

A deputy was dispatched Oct. 9 to a residence regarding vandalism/theft of a key pad to a gate.
