The Howling Moon Costume Ball -- a fundraiser for Yosemite High School Basketball -- will be held Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Golden Chain Theatre, 42130 Highway 41, Oakhurst. The evening will kick-off with a no-host bar at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and entertainment at 7 p.m., then dancing until midnight.

Tickets cost $25 pre-sale or $30 at the door. Tables for eight may be reserved for $200.
