The 10th Annual Sierra Art Trails event Oct. 5 to Oct. 7, featuring 108 Mountain Area artists, was another great success, said Jon Bock, Sierra Art Trails president. "This is about bringing it (the art community) together, and there is great strength in doing that," he said. "It's like a little artist community," said Manteca resident Marybeth Saari of the area while browsing watercolors and stepping stones at Micki Hart's studio in Yosemite Lakes Park. "It's like a gem you have to discover," added her friend Jan Musso of Fresno about the event. "Who knew we had so many talented people here," said new YLP resident Rose Mackey, who browsed art with husband Larry. "It's wonderful."
