The Oakhurst College Center and the Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Trunk-N-Treat from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31 at the Oakhurst College campus. Trunkers are invited to participate.

Those interested in being a trunker should contact the Oakhurst College at (559) 683-3940 or email the chamber of commerce at chamber@oakhurstchamber.com.

Trunkers are welcome to come in costume and decorate their vehicles. They should be prepared to provide candy to approximately 300 children.

Prizes, compliments of local businesses, will be awarded in the following categories. Participants must be present to win.

Best Costume Boy and Girl Ages 0-3

Best Costume Boy and Girl Ages 4-6

Best Costume Boy and Girl Ages 7-10

Best Costume Boy and Girl Ages 11-14

Best Costume Boy and Girl Ages 14-16

Best Trunk

Best Pumpkin

Judging for the costume contest will begin at 5:30 p.m. Pumpkins will be judged at 6:30 p.m. and should be carved prior to entering the contest. Best Trunk prizes will be awarded at 6:45 p.m.

The Oakhurst College Campus is located off of Highway 41 on Civic Circle Drive behind the Rite Aid store in Oakhurst.
