Judy Gallardo died Oct. 2, 2012, at the age of 71

Mrs. Gallardo was a resident of Bass Lake for 40 years.

She was born May 21, 1941 in Los Angeles.

Mrs. Gallardo spent her retirement working for the U.S. Forest Service at Clover Meadow, writing novels about the adventures of U.S. marshalls, and gardening.

She is survived by husband of 49 years, Ray; son Kenneth; daughter Angela; and grandchildren Nathan and Lauren.

A memorial tree planting will be held at a later date.
