Sample ballots contain important information relating to the election, candidates, measures, and provide the voter's polling place location. Sample ballots and polling place locations may also be viewed online at madera-county.com/index.phpelectionsdept/find-my-polling-location.
For persons wishing to vote by mail, ballots will be issued between Oct. 8 and 30.
Any registered voter may apply for a Vote by Mail ballot and request permanent Vote by Mail status. All requests for vote by mail ballots must be submitted in writing by 5 p.m. on Oct.30. after Oct. 30, voters must apply in person at the County Clerk's office at the County Government Center, 200 West 4th Street, Madera.
Voters can check the status of their Vote by Mail ballots online at madera-county.com/index.phpelectionsdept/votebymail/check-the-status-of-your-vote-by-mail-ballot.
Voters who have not received a sample ballot or need assistance with a Vote by Mail ballot, should contact the Madera County Elections Division, at 1-800-435-0509.
