Michael Anthony Grizz died Sept. 27, 2012, at the age of 64.

Mr. Grizz was a resident of Oakhurst for more than 25 years.

He was born Jan. 29, 1948 in San Francisco.

Mr. Grizz served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War as a helicopter crew chief in the "White Knights" squadron.

He is survived by wife Lori Grizz; children Tina Grizz, Donnell Lebow and Samantha Grizz; stepchildren Bryce Seals, Brettney Montgomery and Brandon "Zammi" Zambrano; and nine grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at Living Way Foursquare Church, 50089 School Road (427), Oakhurst.
