The Madera County Sheriff's Office is investigating a break-in at an auto dealership situated in the highly visible strip mall off Highway 41 north of Children's Blvd, between Avenue 101/2 and Avenue 11.
Thieves broke into Skinner's Auto Wholesale sometime between Saturday night and early Sunday morning, stealing office equipment, vandalizing a motor home, and stealing the owners silver 1998 Ford Expedition.
A padlock at the back of the building was cut in order to gain access to the office. Thieves stole all the keys to the cars parked on the lot and nearly $9,000 worth of office equipment including a desktop computer, monitor, external hard drive, laser printer CD players, tool box, and a Chuck Liddel autographed poster.
It's believed the suspects used the Expedition to haul off the stolen property away. The vehicle's license plate is:
