Time is running out to register for the Oct. 6 Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary Rick Murphy Memorial Golf Tournament Golf tournament benefiting youth and community projects. The 22nd annual tournament will be held at Sierra Meadows Golf Course with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Entry fee is $100 and includes breakfast, 18 holes of golf, golf cart, goodie bag, lunch, two on-course drinks and an awards dinner with wine. Dinner only tickets are $20.
The fundraiser tournament has a variety of prizes, including four hole-in-one prizes where someone could win a new car from Courtesy Ford.
Other prizes will be awarded for men and women for longest drive and closest to the pin. There are also trophies for low handicap and low net and a putting and chipping contest.
An auction and raffle will begin at 3:30 p.m.
The tournament is named in honor of golf devotee and long-time Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotarian Rick Murphy.
In addition to the Rotary Club, sponsors include Tenaya Lodge, Sullivan's Tire Pros, Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, Sierra Asset Management and Sierra Telephone.
