Bob Reese and LaVonda (Roth) Reese celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 18.
The couple were married in 1952 in Lavaca, Ark. and began their lives together in San Diego, where Bob was stationed in the U.S. Navy. LaVonda is a member of the Indian Lakes Auxiliary and enjoys exercising, playing card games with friend Delois, and in the past enjoyed biking with friend Pat. Bob enjoys reading, using the computer, woodworking and gold panning.
The couple have three children: Gary Reese, Brenda Morgan and Theresa Young. Their spouses (in the same order) are Cindy Reese, Bruce Morgan and Lynn Young. The couple has six grandchildren: Chad and Crystal Reese, Spencer Morgan, Chelsea Jones, Nikki Alford and Merlin Martin; and seven great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Rylee, Jaden, Gavin, Grace, Emilynn and Anthony.
