I was at the Congressman Tom McClintock event at Erna's on Sept. 6. Congressman McClintock did an excellent job answering some difficult questions. I appreciated the opportunity to meet him and the hospitality that Erna's provided.
I do find it interesting and humorous that at his talk in Coarsegold, Congressman McClintock encouraged people to get involved in the political debate and said when people "start calling you names, you know you've won." He later called the National Park Service and environmentalists "lunatics" four times in questions that followed.
I wonder who he feels wins with comments like these.
