Suzannah "Suzie" Burks, a 2006 graduate of Glacier High, was recently deployment to Forward Operating Base, Salerno, in Afghanistan where she will be stationed for about 10 months.

She is a 2010 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, and is currently a 1st lieutenant assigned to logistics.

Her parents are Don and Mary Burks of North Fork.
