Oakhurst

A deputy observed a subject walking in traffic Aug. 15 on Highway 41. The subject was walking with a stagger and appeared to be intoxicated. It was determined the subject was unable to care for himself due to a high level of intoxication. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Department of Corrections in Madera.

A deputy responded to a burglary in progress Aug. 15 at a grocery store on Highway 41. The suspect stole food and other items. The suspect was detained by a citizen and a deputy arrested him on scene.

A deputy was dispatched to intoxicated subjects Aug. 16. One adult male was arrested and booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections.

An unknown suspect hit a window and broke out the glass pane Aug. 18 off Crane Valley Road (426).

Deputies responded to a drive by BB-gun shooting Aug. 18 at a Dollar Tree store window.

Deputies responded to a drive by BB-gun shooting Aug. 19 at a The Purple Cow Mall on Highway 41.

A deputy responded to a stolen vehicle report Aug. 19 on Highway 41 and damage to two other vehicles.

A 16-year-old girl was arrested for a liquor law violation Aug. 22.

A deputy was dispatched to Live Oak Drive Aug. 22 regarding a report of a burglary.

A deputy dispatched to School Road 427 Aug. 22 regarding a student in possession of prescription pills.

A juvenile provided a sheriff deputy with a false name Aug. 22 in order to hide the fact that he was wanted by Sonoma County Probation Department. The juvenile's true identity was later learned and he was arrested on seven outstanding warrants.


North Fork

A deputy was dispatched to a location Aug. 16 off Road 200 regarding a report of a theft/embezzlement.

A deputy contacted a male subject Aug. 20 with a $10,000 misdemeanor warrant out of Tulare County.


Coarsegold

A deputy was dispatched due to a report of burglary Aug. 17 to a residence.

Suspects used an Internet site Aug. 19 to lease a vacation home belonging to the victim.

An 81-year-old woman with Alzheimer's left her residence in her vehicle Aug. 20. She was located the next day in Los Angeles by California Highway Patrol.

A deputy was dispatched to a report of a possible residential burglary Aug. 20 off River Knolles Road.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence off Road 416 Aug. 22 regarding a stolen safe.
