Rouse/Kleist engagement

Matthew Rouse and Samantha Kleist of Ahwahnee are engaged to be married Oct. 11, 2012 at Paradise Springs in Oakhurst amongst 70 family and friends.

Rouse, 25, a 2004 Yosemite High School graduate and 2005 Fresno City College Police Academy graduate, works as a service writer.

Kleist, 21, a 2008 Yosemite High School graduate and 2010 Fresno City College graduate, works as a front desk associate and is currently waiting to be accepted into FCC's dental hygiene program.

The groom-to-be's parents are Dan and Laura Rouse of Ahwahnee, and the bride-to-be's parents are David and Holly Kleist of Ahwahnee.

The maid of honor will be Nicole Kleist of Ahwahnee, and the best man will be August Kleist of Ahwahnee. Nina Alamillo of Mariposa will be a bridesmaid, and Jonathan Bradshaw of Oakhurst will be a groomsmen.

The couple will be honeymooning at Disneyland, where Rouse proposed.
