The new Camarena Health Center in the Oakhurst Shopping Center adjacent to the Sierra Star on Crane Valley Road (426) is scheduled to open Monday, Aug. 27.
Camarena Health will be offering and providing primary family care medical services. Most health insurances are accepted and uninsured patients are welcome.
Camarena Health offers assistance with health benefits enrollment and offers a sliding fee scale for those who do not qualify for insurance coverage. Camarena Health's main objective with the health center is to meet the growing medical needs of the residents of Eastern Madera County.
Camarena Health, a federally qualified health center, is the largest provider of primary care services in Madera County, currently providing medical, dental, laboratory and health education services to the communities of Chowchilla and Madera.
"We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to expand our medical services to serve the residents of Eastern Madera County," said Paulo Soares, CEO of Camarena Health. "We take great pride in providing these services and look forward to meeting and supporting as many people as possible."
Cooper Chase Construction of Fresno was the contractor that remodeled the new Camera Health Center.
