EllenAnn Johnson died in May in Oakhurst at the age of 90.
Mrs. Johnson was a resident of Oakhurst for three years; formerly living in Palos Verdes.
She was born Jan. 26, 1922 in Ogden, Utah to Dr. and Mrs. Vernon L. Ward.
Mrs. Johnson enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking, rock hounding, trailer camping, traveling, and spending time with family.
She was involved in a crafts club, gem & mineral club, women's club, seniors club, and served as a Welcome Wagon volunteer.
Mrs. Johnson taught private students for many years reading, writing arithmatic and at radign and writing Montessori school in Palos Verdes for a few years.
She was preceded in death by husband of 64 years, Don.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by children Don of Huntington Beach, Vernon of Oakhurst, and Joel of Sonora; grandchildren Glenn of Atascadero, LeAnne Connolly of Huntington Beach, Melanie Johnson of Santa Barbara, Brett Johnson of Costa Mesa, Bethany and Lisa Johnson of Sonora; and great-grandchild Max Johnson of Atascadero.
A private internment was held in Willard, Utah last June. A memorial gathering is planned Sept.1 in San Luis Obispo.
