Frank Koop died July 26, 2012, at the age of 64.

Mr. Koop was a resident of Fresno for 25 years.

He was born July 3, 1948 in Reedley.

Mr. Koop worked as a teacher at Sierra High School for more than 30 years.

He enjoyed cycling, studying ideas, hiking, teaching, coaching, being involved in communities, and spending time with his dog and family.

Mr. Koop is survived by sons Josh and Caleb Koop.

A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10 at Stephens & Bean Funeral Chapel, 202 N. Teilman, Fresno, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. at Reedley Cemetery. A reception will be held afterwards at 2 p.m. at the his residence, 524 E. Shelldrake Circle, Fresno.
