Hector Joseph Joubert died Aug. 4, 2012, at the age of 89.

Mr. Joubert was a resident of Oakhurst for 39 years.

He was born June 13, 1923 in Manitoba, Canada.

Mr. Joubert worked as a farmer.

He is survived by wife Agnes A. Joubert; daughters Gisele Hicks, Francoise Cook and Jocclyne Berry; sons Laurent, Michel and Jacques Joubert; two sisters; one brother; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at Our Lady of the Sierra Catholic Church in Oakhurst.
