Megan Rapp recognized by Rotary

Megan Rapp was recently recognized as an outstanding student at Oakhurst Elementary School by members of the Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary Club.

Rapp is president of the school's fifth grade class, is an excellent student and participates in swimming and softball.

Kathleen Murphy, principal of Oakhurst Elementary School, praised Rapp for her leadership qualities and ability to take on all projects with cheerfulness and dedication.

Rapp is the daughter of Damien and Becky Rapp.

Yosemite High School Principal and Rotarian Ed Vanhoose presented Rapp with a $50 gift card, donated by Yosemite Bank. Vanhoose chairs the Sunrise Rotary Recognition Program and feels it is important to bring talented, hard-working students to the attention of business and civic leaders in the community.
