Madera County Sheriff's Office sent out a release today that an Oakhurst woman was found Saturday lying on the side of the road unconscious with severe head trauma in Bass Lake, her Jeep Wrangler missing.
If anyone has information regarding the Jeep they are urged to call either the Madera County Sheriffs Office at 559-675-7770 or CRIME STOPPERS at 498-STOP. The Jeep's California license plate number is 5 H O U 1 3 3. The photo looks similar to the victim's 2004 Wrangler, with a blue body and tan top. The full release is posted below:
The Madera County Sheriffs Office is turning to the public, hoping an anonymous tip will help Detectives solve a case.
A 42-year old Oakhurst woman was found lying on the side of the road Saturday night near Bass Lake. The vehicle she was driving, missing.
Shanin Path, who remains hospitalized with severe head trauma, was found unconscious on Road 222 just north of Road 274 at 8:37 PM.
She was last seen driving her Blue colored (tan top) Jeep Wrangler in Ahwahnee at around 7:00 PM. She was supposed to meet friends for dinner in Oakhurst, but never showed.
Anyone who was in the area of Road 222 and 274 between 6:30 and 8:30 PM Saturday night, or may have information about Shanin or her missing Jeep Wrangler, is urged to call either the Madera County Sheriffs Office at 559-675-7770 or CRIME STOPPERS.
