Pero / Evans wedding engagement

Mike Pero, son of John and Jennai Pero of Ahwahnee, and Cassandra Evans are engaged to be married in July in San Diego.

Mike is a graduate of Texas State University San Marcos and is currently serving as a U.S. Navy SEAL, 1st class petty officer, stationed in San Diego. He has completed three tours to Iraq and one to Afghanistan and is the recipient of a bronze star. He is one of the Navy SEALS in the movie Act of Valor (one of the many unnamed and disguised).

Cassandra graduated from California State University, San Marcos and is the assistant childcare and summer camp director at the Pacific Sport Resort in San Diego.
