Sophomore Chase Hagerman was introduced to the Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary Club by Yosemite High School Principal Ed VanHoose. Hagerman was nominated for Student of the Month by his teachers for academic achievement and his enthusiasm for music, especially percussion.
He is the son of Steve and Teena Hagerman of Oakhurst.
District Superintendent Steve Raupp presented Hagerman with a $100 savings bond on behalf of the Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary Club. Raupp said the Student of the Month program is a great way to bring some of our best young people to the attention of community leaders and business professionals for well-deserved recognition.
