Obituary for September 2, 2010 edition

James R. Potter died Aug. 20, 2010 at the age of 59.

He was born Sept. 30, 1950 in Los Angeles.

Mr. Potter worked in pool maintenance and repair.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Isabel Shaw-Potter, and his brother, John Potter.

Mr. Potter is survived by his former wife Peggy Potter; daughters Janis Logan of Redding and Jennifer Potter-Garibay; son Jon Richard Potter; his father Leonard Potter of Pasadena; four grandchildren Sydney and Cooper Logan and Madison and Matthew Garibay.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25 at First Presbyterian Church 475 Sunset Street in Coalinga.
