Horace George Lutz died Aug, 23, 2010 at the age of 79.

He was born Sept. 6, 1930.

Mr. Lutz was a Marine Korean War veteran and worked in the refinery industry for 35 years.

He retired from Torrance to Oakhurst in 1982.

Mr. Lutz was preceded in death by his parents, William O. and Anna P. Lutz, brother William and sister Blanche Daw.

He is survived by his wife Patricia E. Lutz; daughter Debra P. Kneisler and husband John; sons Eric G. Lutz and wife Karen, Alex G. Lutz and wife Karen; sister Doris Vosberg; Grandchildren Brent Kneisler, Amy Kneisler, Jolene Mathias, Jeff Mathias, James Kneisler, Christine Sandnes, Nicole Kneisler, Steven Lutz, Bryce Lutz, Thomas Lutz; Great-Grandchildren Laine Kneisler and Noah Mathias; sister-in-law Dorothy Gandolfo and brother-in-law John Healey.

Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 4 at Our Lady of the Sierra Catholic Church.
