Parolee apprehended in Oakhurst

Kenneth Woodmansee, 42, aka Kenneth Herzog, is behind bars on a no-bail hold following his pre-dawn arrest in Oakhurst Saturday.

Around 4:20 a.m., Deputy Sheriff Luis Padgett responded to a call of an intoxicated male sitting on the porch of an apartment located on Victoria Lane. When deputies tried to question him, they say his speech was so slurred he couldn't even say his own name.

But a California Department of Corrections medical card and various tattoo information showed him to be Kenneth Woodmansee, also known as Kenneth Herzog -- a parolee at large wanted on a no-bail warrant.

Woodmansee was taken into custody without incident and booked into Madera County Department of Corrections.
