Have you ever stopped to think that, each day, you can review the entire range of the human condition in the newspaper for about the same cost of your morning coffee?

Start with the front section -- a guidebook to the day's rapes, murders, kidnappings drive-by shootings, robberies, child molestations, and an assortment of murderers, thieves, pimps, terrorists and a host of others that crawl from beneath the rocks.

Then on the editorial pages where some of the people respond to their treatment by politicians and elected officials and their mistreatment by the laws that these people have enacted.

Here too is where the newspaper establishes its position.

Next comes the sports section which is like stepping out of a dark room into the clean fresh sunlight.

Here, we find the cream of our society. The Athletes -- our children representing their countries -- proud of what they're doing -- unashamed to show a side of our species, not seen on the other pages.

Grandpa Sez: "The man who can't read is no worse off than the man who doesn't!"
