Angelic Honor

David Smith and Stephanie Samuels were named the Man and Woman Angels of the Year Sunday during the Angels Amongst Us Awards Dinner, sponsored by the Mountain Bear Fan Club. Tracy Marr, her son Jared, and Fitness trainer Malcomb Mungin, received a standing ovation at the dinner. Jared Marr is recovering from a brain injury from an auto accident and Mungin has provided free strength training to help with Marr's recovery. Mike and Brenda Perreira were named Couple Angels, Business Angel was the Children's Museum of the Sierra and the Group Angel award went to the Yosemite High rescue team of Bob Kernaghan, Lina Moberly, Terry LeQuia and Denise Trappen. Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Dr. Bill Atwood.
