Kristi Mattes and the Minarets Future Farmers of America were acknowledged Saturday, Nov. 14 at a Regional FFA Conference -- the San Joaquin California Teachers of Agriculture Awards.

Kristi Mattes won Outstanding Teacher for the East-Fresno/Madera Region. Minarets High School was named best One Person Agriculture Department for last year's efforts before becoming a two-person Agriculture Department or program.
