Catherine Elizabeth "Betty" Mannion died June 6, 2009 at the age of 86.
She lived in Napa at the time of her death but had been a resident of Coarsegold for 16 years.
She was a retired registered nurse.
She enjoyed sewing, Bible study, traveling and skiing.
She was a member of the Oakhurst Lutheran Church and sang in the choir and was an election board volunteer.
She is survived by her daughters Beverly Swift of Santa Rosa, Patricia Carusi of Jackson and Susan Howerton of Jackson; son John Gist of Fresno; sisters Marilyn Ebner of Sparks, Nev., and Norma Barr of Wauken, Iowa; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Oakhurst Lutheran Church, July 11 at 11 a.m. Remembrances can be made to the Oakhurst Lutheran Church and the American Heart Association.
