Clara Leach died on July 1 at the age of 94.

She was a resident of Ahwahnee for 50 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Mecchi and her husband Bunk; grandsons Brett and Glen Mecchi; four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

A service was held on July 8 at Sierra Chapel.
