Last Thursday evening, members of the River Creek Women's Golf Club celebrated Women's Golf Month by arranging a Girl's Night Out.
Women new to golf or wanted to brush up on their skills were invited to come take a free group lesson, play three holes of golf and then top the evening off with wine and hors d'oeuvres in the clubhouse.
The event drew close to 50 women from all over the mountain community and women from Fresno and Merced.
Women interested in learning more about the River Creek Women's Golf Club are invited to play with the group any Thursday morning for a round of casual golf. Arrive by 7:45 a.m. for the 8 a.m. tee time. For more information contact Norma Colbern at: (559) 683-7445.
