Rita Noble Deisher died on June 22 at the age of 84.
She grew up in Raymond, and raised her own family there.
She was active in the Raymond 4-H Club and the Women's Improvement Club. Her and her husband Edgar were named the grand marshal's of the Raymond Parade and old King and Queen of the Madera Old Timer's Day Parade. Edgar died in 2000 and she re-married in 2004 to Bud Deisher.
She is survived by her husband Bud of Madera; son Don Noble and his wife Pat of Milton-Freewater, Ore.; daughter Shirley Driggs and her husband Bill of Madera; brother Ralph Gaskin and his wife Dessie of Clovis; sisters Francis Casaurang of Knowles and Dorothy Ferguson of Dayton, Nev.; and grandchildren Brian Driggs and wife Katie of Madera; Heidi Crane and husband Rich of Fresno; Rhonda Boomer and husband Scott of Milton-Freewater, Ore.; Stephanie Noble of Walla Walla, Wash.; Sabrina Jones and husband Kyle of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; Chris Vollmer and wife Angie of Milton- Freewater, Ore.; Vickie Cruz and husband Gino of Vancouver, Wash.; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; step-children Dick Deisher and wife Cookie of Riverside; Bob Deisher and wife Lois of Raymond; John Deisher and wife Shirley of Eagle Creek, Ore., and Jackie Sidders of Bellefontaine, Ohio.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date. The family requests memorials be made to the Raymond Museum, P. O. Box 113, Raymond, CA 93653 or to the Madera County Historical Society, P. O. Box 150, Madera, CA 93639.
