Harold Eugene Peters died June 26 at the age of 71.
He was born in Hazel Park, Mich., and was a resident of Oakhurst for 20 years.
He was a veteran of the Marine Corp. He worked as a dispatcher at Ponderosa Telephone Company in O'Neals and was a member of the Elks Lodge for 15 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Karen Moyle of Kingman, Ariz., and Lisa Floyd of Huntington Beach; his son Michael Peters of Huntington Beach; five grandsons and two granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; and his siter Patricia Hope of Michigan.
Services will be held from noon to 2 p.m. July 3 at the Elk's Lodge, 42484 Highway 41 in Oakhurst.
