Andres "Andy" Granillo died surrounded by his family on June 15, 2009.
He was a resident of Coarsegold since 2005. He worked at Weyerhaeuser Paper Company in Salinas for 20 years. He enjoyed watching sports, attending family gatherings, music and playing with his grandson Nathan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Susana Granillo.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Laura Granillo; his daughter Christine (Robert) Romero; his son Andres ll; grandson Nathan Romero; stepmother Geneieve Granillo; brother Manuel de Jesus (Frances) Granillo; sisters Gloria Lopez, Frances Martin, Anna (Oscar) Villalobos, Lupe (Mike) Armenta, Lydia (Galen) Aoki; and numerous neices and nephews.
The viewing was held at Palm Memorial Sierra Chapel in Oakhurst on June 22.
A mass was held at Our Lady of the Sierra Church on Monday also. He is now buried at Oakhill Cemetery in Oakhurst.
