Thelma Dolores Harbison died May 28, 2009, after a short battle with cancer.
She was a resident of North Fork.
She was a horse trainer most of her adult life and rode in many competitions. She enjoyed caring for her land, horses, mules, sheep, dogs and cats. She also enjoyed hiking and outdoor activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jim Harbison and their daughter, Sharon.
She is survived by her sons, Jim of Lancaster and Steve of Fresno; daughter-in-law, Patty; sister and brother-in-law, Larry and Ada Evans of Bakersfield; brother and sister-in-law, Coke and Joni Buchanan of Sun River, Ore.; grandchildren, Aj Foley of Santa Clarita, Mariah Pryor of Woodstock, Ga., Krista Washburn of Coarsegold and Gina Cleveland of Fresno; and eight great-grandchildren.
