Obituary for July 1, 2009 edition

Clifford V. Bonham died April 25, 2009, at the age of 87.

He was a former resident of Oakhurst.

He was a Navy veteran. After the Navy he worked with the California Youth Authority, he was a parole agent, probation officer and also a clinical marriage and family counselor.

He was also a retired Professor Emeritus from California State University, Fresno.

He was a member of the Unitarian faith, strongly believed in service and liked staying active.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vesta, and two brothers Wilbur and Charles.

He is survived by his stepson, Bill Rohde and his wife Romaine; his son Larry Bonham and wife Joy; his daughter Tami Johnson and her husband John; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on July 11 in Sunnyvale, Calif. For more info e-mail cvb_memorial@pacbell.net
