The Oakhurst Sierra Rotary, noon club will be hosting an evening of elegance to raise funds for scholarships and local charities.
The event, a special dinner at Erna’s Elderberry House, is unique as the Rotarians do all the work — from food prep to serving and hosting, the group will work directly with chef Karsten Hart and owner, Erna Cubin-Klanin.
The benefit dinner will be held Sunday, March 22 at 5 p.m. and tickets are available for $125 per person. This is the third year for the fundraiser with the first benefiting ALS in honor of Dr. Gary Pence with $11,000 raised and last year, benefiting the Boy’s and Girls Club with $12,000.
“This is a really, really classy event,” said Rotarian Fern Francino. “Erna’s just does wonders for us and the community.” For more information or to purchase tickets, call Erna’s Elderberry House, (559) 683-6800.
