Despite the economic slide, Manna House hosted its biggest holiday giveaway ever as more was was given and more received. Director Tom Nicolulis said he figures that those who have, know that this year the need is great and have been more likely to give. As many as 368 families signed up and the line to receive a food box, toys, coats and a tree wrapped around the building. Volunteer Scott Kelley was among a force of more than 70 who helped to set up, pass out donations items and clean up.
