Golfers give a cartful to Manna House

On December 9, members of the River Creek Women's Golf Club gathered for their annual Christmas luncheon and awards presentation. Members also filled a golf cart with food and checks to be driven to Manna House. Angela Peters of Ahwahnee captured the top spot in the Winners' Circle for winning 18 tournaments in 2008, more than any other member. The Most Improved Player Award went to Maggie Martin of Midpines who reduced her handicap by nine points this year.
