The Yosemite High School theater arts department will present Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew" Nov. 20-22. Performances will be held in the high school's performing arts center on campus at 7 p.m.
There will also be an additional matinee performance Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets for the show are $8 for adults and $6 for students ($5 with an ASB card). A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Danny Zabicki Foundation.
The production, which follows the comedic courtship of the tormenting Petruchio (performed by Victor Sandoval) to the headstrong Katarina (performed by Ariel Campbell), will fuse traditional Renaissance elements with a modern take. For more information, (559) 683-4667 ext. 256.
