The most recent numbers reported by Yosemite Unified School District show a continuation of across-the-board losses in enrollment again this school year.
District totals dropped to 2,329 students as of October.
By contrast, last year district totals were 2,465 and the year prior, totals were 2,524 (around the same time) -- a loss of nearly 200 students in just three year's time.
Losses have also been district-wide each month since the beginning of the year, with a decline in numbers reported at every school in the district.
According to the district report prepared for Tuesday's board meeting, the decline in enrollment has become a concerning pattern and will be monitored.
