Yosemite High School senior Alex Prather recently earned a Superior Achievement Award for her performance in the Valley High School Drama Festival, which was sponsored by Fresno City College and featured 17 area high schools competing for a variety of awards. Prather was one of eight students who earned this award out of 200. She portrayed a 105-year-old feminist in the satire 1-900 DESPERATE. She plans on attending Fresno State.
